lummi island: cooper & tater

My last photo shoot on my July trip to Lummi Island, Washington was that with Cooper and Tater, two beautiful Australian shepherds. We went out to a rocky beach on Lummi Island on the west coast, which was a portion of the island I hadn’t yet visited. From that spot, we could see Orca’s Island, a more well known and larger San Juan Island.
Cooper and Tater are pretty active dogs who enjoyed running along the beach, but they were also extremely interested in all the nice beach smells. They even thought it would be lovely to roll around in the highly aromatic seaweed along the beach! I was able to capture their beach activities in the nice afternoon light. Enjoy!
